IMG_1619Team ASÉ  supported the Edible Garden Launch at Sufra Food Bank, St Raphs on Saturday. It’s a cool project for families and kids on St Raphaels Estate promoting healthy eating and gardening workshops.  Proceeds go to the Sufra Food Bank.  There’s a pond being built and lots of space for the kids to plant flowers, fruit and veg, also they’re thinking of introducing chickens to produce eggs for the food bank also – exciting stuff!

Mayor of Brent

A beautiful day to meet residents and talk to other voluntary organisations there to support the event.

We spoke to Cllr Lesley Jones about our Mentoring Programme and learnt she has an extensive teaching career and Head Teacher in Brent.

We shared information with residents about ASÉ’s mentoring programme and vocational courses available.  Munira from Well London invited us to speak to residents interested in a Early Years Taster programme, which we would love to deliver to the residents.
